Green Haven is the newest addition to the Hill House Living family, and we’ve built it with one purpose in mind: to provide exceptional assisted living care in a setting that truly feels like home. Located on the edge of Moscow in a brand new, family-oriented neighborhood, our 8,500 square foot residence sits adjacent to the beautiful University of Idaho Arboretum. Imagine starting your morning with a stroll along tree-lined walking trails or watching university students tend the grounds as the seasons change. There’s something peaceful about being surrounded by nature while still having the town center just minutes away.
Our home features 16 private suites, each with its own full bathroom and mini coffee bar because everyone deserves their own space to wake up at their own pace with a fresh cup of coffee. Light pours through the windows throughout the day, creating a bright, welcoming atmosphere that lifts the spirit. The open kitchen concept with beautiful stone countertops means residents can watch meals being prepared, filling the home with the comforting aromas of home cooking. Gather by the see-through fireplace in the living room, enjoy a movie in our media room, or sit at the piano surrounded by shelves stocked with classic books. Step outside to our courtyard with raised garden beds, perfect for those who’ve always loved working with their hands in the soil.
Sidewalks meander throughout our neighborhood, and a seasonal creek runs nearby, giving Green Haven that country feel many of us grew up with. It’s peaceful here, but not isolated, just the way it should be.

Like Hill House, Green Haven is locally and privately owned by people who live right here on the Palouse. We’re not a big corporation making decisions from some far-off boardroom. One of our owners serves as Administrator and is a Registered Nurse, which means the person overseeing your loved one’s care has the clinical expertise and the heart to do it right. That’s something you simply can’t replicate in larger, corporate facilities.
We maintain attentive staffing levels that allow our caregivers to truly know each resident, their preferences, their stories, and their needs. These aren’t just numbers on a schedule; they’re real relationships built on genuine care and respect. We take the time to build meaningful connections with our residents and their families. This isn’t just a place where someone receives services; it’s a community where your loved one is valued, known, and cared for with genuine affection.
Assistance with Daily Living, Delivered with Dignity
At Green Haven, we provide comprehensive support for all activities of daily living (ADLs). Our trained, compassionate caregivers are here to assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders, mobility support, and personal care needs, whatever your loved one requires to feel comfortable and confident each day. We also provide delicious, nutritious home-cooked meals three times daily, housekeeping and laundry services, social activities, and salon services.
We’re pleased to have a Medical Director on staff who is available to serve as your loved one’s primary care physician. The convenience of having a doctor come right to Green Haven means no more stressful trips out for routine appointments, your loved one can receive quality medical care in the comfort of their own home.
The goal isn’t to take over someone’s life; it’s to provide just the right amount of help so they can continue enjoying the things that matter most. Whether that’s joining friends for a meal, participating in activities, taking a walk in the Arboretum, or simply relaxing in a sunny room with a good book, we make sure each resident has the support they need to live fully.

Something out of the fairytale books. She embodied a life lived for others. Whether playing piano at church or the local nursing home she always brought with her a joy that made you feel at home. Safe and Loved. Grandpa had a unique intellect and a practical wisdom that would give most philosophers a run for their money and was not afraid of work. As Grandma said, “Don’t try to keep up with that man. He has boundless energy.” With those two pillars in my life it only seems right to follow their example. Green Haven, I hope, will embody the same joy, love, wisdom, and hard work my Grandparents gave to me. It is a gift that I strive to pass on.”
